Pay wasn't terrible as a uni student. The managers were cool.

It felt like those on the shop floor were "disrespected" at times by people in office. Very us vs. them. Sometimes had issues with pay. Communication wasn't always the greatest. Needed better things in place for Black women who were working on the shop floor and sometimes had people making fun of the hair textures on display.

The companies mission and goals are amazing

Nepotism is very apparent - family members paid exceptionally more. Was made to work evenings and weekends unpaid and under appreciated. The founders don’t care about your mental well-being - only about themselves. They will make you feel like you’re the problem. Results in a VERY fast turnover of staff and unhappy team.
