Pros

access to the New York Stock Exchange, nice coworkers, work life balance because of market hours.

Kontras

everything else. poor management, way below market pay, and cost-cutting takes precedence over employees. nepotism runs this company, those that know someone to get here are treated much better than those who came in with no prior connection.

Pros

Interning with the research team at Rosenblatt Securities was an outstanding and highly rewarding experience. I started part-time during the fall while in school and transitioned to full-time in the summer, working closely with three different analysts who each gave me substantial responsibilities and direct ownership of projects. From day one, I was building financial models, analyzing companies and industries, and contributing research that was directly used by clients. The boutique environment at Rosenblatt was a major advantage — I had direct exposure to senior leadership, constant opportunities for feedback, and the ability to work on a wide variety of projects. One of the most unique aspects of the internship was the chance to attend and actively participate in events with C-suite executives, offering a level of access and engagement that is rare for interns at larger firms. This combination of responsibility, mentorship, and access made the internship a pivotal step in my professional development.

Kontras

Pay could have been better, but I was an intern, so the experience was what I cared about the most.
