Pros

Pay for some. Health benefits.

Kontras

I feel compelled to warn potential job seekers about the realities of working for this company. Despite the attractive pay, the work environment is highly toxic and unhealthy. The owners exhibit unethical behavior (throwing trash out of a truck window while driving down the highway, talking about beating people up behind their back, name calling to their face, cheating on spouse, firing after health issues, changing the company name to escape so many bad homeowner reviews and OSHA cases, the examples are endless) Clear lack of respect for employees. One mistake can put you on the bad side, and they constantly need a scapegoat. In meetings, only agreeing with the owner or his now wife (previously his assistant) is tolerated; any dissenting opinion is met with disdain and insults. One thing the owner has perfected is bullying others by name calling and yelling. It is a highly stressful and demoralizing environment. I would advise thinking very carefully before accepting a position here. Even if you will not have direct interaction with the owner or his wife be warned that management will stab you in the back without a second thought. Believe the bad reviews. The good reviews- those come from current employees that are "asked" to write within certain time frames so they don't all post at the same time.

We’ll be honest—this review reads less like an account of a workplace experience and more like the plot of a daytime soap opera. Beating people up? Sordid affairs? Changing company names to escape government agencies? While we do appreciate a good story, the reality is far less dramatic: we’re a roofing company owned by a hardworking, self-made Midwesterner who, yes, did marry his assistant—after years of working together. Not exactly breaking news, and certainly not evidence of some corporate conspiracy. If anything, it just shows they were both focused more on work and less on creating reality TV-worthy drama. The truth is, RoofClaim.com values hardworking, driven employees who want to be part of a productive and positive team. Our average employee tenure is over five years—well above the national average—and we haven’t had a single voluntary resignation in over a year. If our workplace were as “toxic” as described, those numbers simply wouldn’t exist. We encourage job seekers to do their own research, speak with our team members, and focus on what actually matters: the opportunity for growth, strong earning potential, and the chance to work with a team that values integrity and an honest day’s work. While we welcome constructive feedback, reviews filled with outright falsehoods and personal attacks do a disservice to those genuinely looking for insight into our company culture. If this reviewer had a true negative experience, we regret that they didn’t feel comfortable addressing it directly—but the extreme nature of these claims simply doesn’t align with reality.

Pros

My manager was friendly and really tried to help and train me sell remotely.

Kontras

Bad part was I sold a lot of roof policies in one month and made no money. That shouldn't happen. Then there was was no real accountability when I asked why all of my policies did not get approved by insurance in a month? The only way to make money is door to door for this job. Remote will not make sense without a better plan.
