1yWe are of course sorry to read this. The transition to becoming a profitable company has presented us with a lot of very hard decisions, and although we have done our best to navigate the different steps, we could undoubtedly have handled situations better. The divide between leadership and those negatively affected by the decisions can feel deep in times of layoffs and cuts, and some decisions are just inherently draining.
I do not recognize the us vs them mentality that is mentioned. Rather, I have felt a deep wish to keep the organization together and unified in a time of many big changes that naturally triggered emotional responses and difficult situations. Although there will always be different chemistry, personal and professional, between different individuals and groups (and that is welcomed), I am genuinely grateful for every person that joins our journey. As a founder, it always feels special to have new people come along and contribute their talents to the company. I appreciate every person who wants our company to succeed and who brings positivity and good faith collaboration with them.
We try to act on all the feedback we get in the best interest of the company and employees and will continue to do so. We are constantly learning and improving and we believe very strongly in our company's future and in the people who are part of Rokoko.
