R+F is going through a transition since they laid off 20% employees in Dec 2019. The transformation is from product focused to marketing/promotion focused to drive (or maintain) sales/growth. The company has no growth since 2018. That is why there was a massive layoff. - high turnover rate. Most people stay less than 2 years. - Some department is really hard to get a promotion. ie. supply chain. They will hire and train you to do one thing only. - Mixed culture. The company is trying to promote diversity from brand to overall company culture. However, it is white dominated culture. Favoritism is an unspoken issue if you are not white. - Pay is reasonable. Higher than industry standard (beauty industry) but lower than same job function comparing to tech or automotive.
