6yWe’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy. Like all companies, we have clear policies and procedures that safeguard staff, customers and the company alike. While disagreements and disciplinary issues do sometimes arise in all work places, this is never our desired outcome. Whilst we disagree with your assessment, we accept your right to your opinion and if you are a current member of staff you can raise these issues with your line manager in the first instance or, alternatively follow our processes via our People Services department. Our Care and Support business operates in a very competitive and challenging environment and at times we do need to make changes to the structure of our business that impact staff. Whilst this can be challenging for all individuals decisions need to be made to sustain our business we always aim to do this sensitively and carry this out in a clear and transparent way in line with agreed company policies and procedures.
Above all, the wellbeing of our customers and employees is our key priority and for staff we provide a range of physical and mental wellbeing support services including an Employee Assistance Programme and our new comprehensive colleague health and wellbeing campaign. We also have a number of staff advocacy groups through which these issues are kept in constant focus and review. Our staff recognition scheme, Riverside Stars, which has seen more than 500 staff nominated for awards since its inception last year while we also regularly monitor and evaluate performance through our performance management framework.
