Software consulting can be wild ride at times. You might work several contracts within the span of a year, requiring you to produce robust, professional solutions in a multitude of tech-stacks. For me, this has been a pro, not a con, but I realize that it may not be for everyone. I see it as an opportunity to be more than just an implementer.
