Pros
Publisher and editors were fantastic in providing feedback, and advice for my career. They also have continued to be excellent references. The work environment, regarding the team, is very positive. Everyone is out helping each other and there is no toxicity even when mistakes are made. The team is very much about learning from mistakes rather than staying with them.
Kontras
The only downside is the forums can be a place for toxicity. Although technically customers, the subscribers are often harsh on any mistakes and will constantly remind writers of mistakes even a year later. Oftentimes moderators (ourselves) have to step in on forums or comments because of toxicity. Pay was minimal and is not livable in the slightest. This is a great secondary job and in-college job. I would not recommend staying here very long based on the pay I had received at the time.
