NOC is all in one. You must know, transport, IP, GPON, HFC, DSL, MPLS, BGP, VPLS, OSPF, SIP TRUNKs, T1's, SONAT, Access, Voice, VoIP, Managed Voice services...etc. You name it, you probably need to know it. NOC is the dumping ground for anything other departments don't want to Even when it is clearly in their wheelhouse to take care of. Inconsistent operational standards.
