Many of my colleagues were very hardworking, and they had to be as the management gives you no choice. Beware!

The top management expects employees to give their 200% to the job doesn't care about the employee expectations. When an employee is working brutal hours, handling daily challenges and exhausting workloads, they can at least expect some appreciation from the management. The leadership not only fails at appreciating the emplpyees but is also terrible at communication. It led to constant chaos.
