Pros
Work is satisfying. Part time status fits my requirement for flexibility. Direct manager is as helpful as she's allowed to be.
Kontras
Pay is low, Sr Management distant and un-connected to staff. Much of the record-keeping is manual--too many things for any one human to keep track of easily without inter-connected systems. Reluctance to spend $$ on meaninful staff development for PTers, which make up about 90% of staff.
