About 13 of us mainly Registered Nurses, and a few MHAs were just hired at RIS, and started our orientation on 1/6/25, I must say that this is the best orientation I have had in about20+ years of my nursing career. The human resources department was caring; I mean caring, the kindness, and high level of professionalism exhibited by this department, they were honest about the challenges of the hospital and made us feel welcomed and excited to be part of this team.
The orientation material was top-notch each presenter came in smiling, and happy, showed enthusiasm, and presented their materials, and area of specialty with some life examples. I observed the managerial staff and noticed the genuine professionalism among themselves and how they spoke to us excited to have us here.
I am excited about becoming part of this great team and looking forward to cultivating and exhibiting this friendliness, and culture of excellence.
