Pros

Communication has improved and the owner, Flaviano Reyes, is a great mentor and leader. This company has the ambition to want to grow and they are on the track to do it. Also, you can work remotely and are a technologically advanced company.

Kontras

Communication is improving, but still needs to improve

Pros

I worked at Reyes Engineering, Inc. for about two summers and part time while I was in school. I kept coming back because (1) it was an avenue for me to develop some practical knowledge about the field that I study now in college. (2) It was great talking to other employees/mentors, and it was pretty nice to have a pool of resources within reach. I'd definitely recommend any high school/college student to intern at Reyes Engineering, Inc. because if you want to explore something in electrical engineering (and even in CS as well), they will give you the platform to do so.

Kontras

Nothing much to say here. The company is a small business and still going through some growing pains. But it's been exciting to be a part of their rise as an electrical engineering consulting firm.

Pros

The opportunity is endless here. As a Project Coordinator it is rare to find mobility in your position. Lots of training available as well. Everyone works hard, but we have a relaxed atmosphere, plus we only do electrical. Coming from one of the big MEP firms its a breath of fresh air. If we have to come in on the weekend or work late the owner is always here with us in the trenches and typically brings lunch. Great place to work if you are looking for a non-corporate environment, but still want to work with all of the same clients and on the same projects as the larger firms.

Kontras

Currently going through growing pains. Shifted to a Project Management oriented structure, which is great, but we are still working out the kinks. Adopted a couple new software tools, still learning all the logistics.
