Pros
Met some nice people over the past years.
Kontras
Just left for another job - the base salary is 30% higher and they have a “real” commission plan! Here you are lucky to make $600 a month unless you have been here for more than 4 years. Only then will you make money because you inherited accounts when others leave. Nobody likes RN in the real world. 1/2 the accounts you call on despise us (tried the program and deleted) 1/4 don't qualify and 1/4 truly don't need us. It is impossible to winback a client because the exit policy is so bad and not quite accurate people end up being on the program longer than they want to. Missing emails/letters. You’d be amazed. There is absolutely no value this company brings to restaurants. We tell them we bring in NEW customers. Not true. We get paid on customers that would have gone to eat there anyway. Brilliant for RN - BAD for restaurants! There is so much paperwork to fill out. " Agreements, Amendments & Rework, Oh my!" Once you think you closed a deal it can take 2-3 weeks of back and forth to actually finalize it. We get old used and recycled laptops that barely work. It literlly takes 10 minutes to turn on and get logged in. Quite embarrasing when you are on site in front of a customer. Expected to do all calls in person and on the road - drive approx. 2000+ miles per month. Don’t get reimbursed for mileage, parking or tolls. (forget wear and tear on the car) We receive a very small car allowance whichgoes through payroll so we get taxed on it. It doesn’t cover 1/2 of our expenses. It literally “cost you money to work here" People are leaving in droves. Even the new people: more than ½ the new reps they hired since January are gone. You just don’t get it. You don’t treat your customers with respect and you treat your sales executives even worse.
