Regardless of performance, there's usually a fair process to dealing with performance issues at almost any organization, and its usually not just a subtle passive warning followed by termination, but it was just that at RLG. The only warning that I got about my performance from my direct manager was that there were a few issues with my performance that needed attention, which was given at a 90-day review at 60 days. Remember, everyone gets a 90-day review, regardless of the points to be discussed, so a 90-day review in itself shouldn't be considered an official reprimand/warning. After the 90-day performance review, I was terminated without any further warnings nearly 5 months later. Thats right, I went 5 months without any kind of reason to believe that I was performing unsatisfactorily, and then termination. I may have not been performing up to their standards, but they gave me little to no warning that was the case before ending my employment. Honestly, I wish I would have never taken the position.
