Pros
Coworkers for the most part are nice, hours are steady, benefits are about as good as they come.
Kontras
Upper management is completely disconnected from how things run in manufacturing/assembly. They ignore advice and seem to look for ANY small reason to let go of someone who isn't brand new and earning just above the minimum. They are EXTREMELY tight with their money and will look for any excuse to cut any cost, even if it'll help production. Which means that the machines are older than I am. Many of the software they use expired nearly thirty years ago and they prefer to limp the machines along using cannibalized parts or buying parts from eBay. Also due to their cheapness, the place is routinely understaffed. They often expect a person to do the work of 2-4 people absolutely perfectly. You really have to pace yourself or else you'll be fun till you burnout easily.
