Kontras
These are purely personal observations based on my time in the company:- * Unnecessary Overtime: Overtime is an unspoken mandate. Employees are chastised for leaving on time. * No compensation for overtime nor comp-offs provided. * Toxic work culture. * Salaries are not market rate. * Micro-management: Designers are micro-managed and are pressured into micro-managing other people in their team, * Unprofessional behaviour by seniors is tolerated company wide. * Archaic work hierarchy. * Very outdated tech stack. * "Attractive profit scheme" is very vague. * No food or transport provided to employees who work overtime late into the night. * Designers are restricted in applying their design skills. They're expected to simply copy paste whatever their manager tells them to do. * Designers are regularly reminded that they're here to learn yet there are very few opportunities to actually learn something other than level design. * Designers do not have access to basic metrics for the projects they work on. * Sprints are marathons. * High churn rate * Low employee morale * No job security, People are routinely reminded they're replaceable. * Difficult to get approval for your EARNED LEAVES. * This is the only company I've seen to implement the sandwich policy on leaves. * Anonymous feedback forms are not actually anonymous and speaking your mind may get you in trouble. * Office location is unsafe, Scuffles are regular and riots have taken place on the same street the office is located in. * Highly unhygienic entry to the office. You have to dodge bits of garbage and an exposed, unmaintained toilet to enter the office alley.
