Pros

11 AM to 8 PM work timing. Work requires almost no effort once you become familiar with the process.

You can't use the phone inside the company. You have to run outside the premises every single time when you have to use your phone, they don't care even it is an emergency. The work is based on internet research but the irony is almost every single site is blocked by the company. Forget Facebook or Youtube, even if you have to go to the website of a sports company, you cannot, because the firewall has blocked it stating that it is a sports website. Unless someone from the IT team manually creates a bypass in the firewall for you, which they are very lousy to attend to, you have to wait. Speaking of internet, the computers you will be using won't be any good either, they will freeze even if you opened an extra spreadsheet by mistake. They are basically potatoes with wires. They will pay you pennies on the dollar, very low pay. The experience and the skill you gain here is of no use anywhere else. That means you are as good as struck here. Less, if not NO opportunity for growth. Inconvenient office workspace. Bad middle management and the top management seems to be extremely stringy on improving the Chennai operations. A lot more cons but I won't have enough time to list them all.

Pros

Interesting product, and a lot of untapped potential remains; managers hear you out and usually make your opinions feel respected even if they are ignored. There is a lot of potential for growth and a roster of well known investors looking to make the company a success. The projects feel rewarding given you are enhancing a product used by hundreds of high value clients (especially the one I am working on now).

Kontras

Management unsure about which direction to go, almost too casual, cliques from Capital IQ remain. High turnover as well. Certain tech people branding themselves as "genius" is not unheard of, but unjustified as the architecture leaves a lot to be desired.
