Pros

Very generous with holidays, floating holidays, PTO, etc. In the past, if you were a good salesperson, you could make a very good income but slowly the company has made several moves to reduce and/or eliminate commission to salespeople, even the top sales teams in the company globally. Overall, the facilities that you work at (and sell) are top notch and many of the clients that work at Regus officse are fantastic and I've made several friends from both current and former Regus clients. I really enjoyed the majority of people I worked with at Regus but after a while, employees start to feel unapprecaited/overworked and you can see a change in their demeanor and enthusiasm as they start to disengage knowing that they don't have a future at Regus. Depending on where you work you can get certain benefits like free parking and the ability to transfer to a new location and/or city/country if you desire to move with Regus, which is nice.

The company will go through massive layoffs and restructuring 1-2 times per year- you can always count on that so it's difficult to feel like your job is ever safe, regardless of performance. The culture is awful and management promotes a "manage by fear of losing your job" mantra that starts to take a toll on everyone after a while. The company has been obsessed with spending every $ of income on opening more and more locations even in markets that are totally saturated where it ends up just cannibalizing sales from other Regus locations. This leads to frustrated Managers and Directors because there simply isn't enough demand to keep up with the supply and yet the sale targets contineu to escalate with no justification- "just sell more" or additional tools and resources. It's not as if Regus is actually taking the time to do legitimate analysis to determine whether or not it makes sense to continue opening offices. Further, there is a high sense of hubris within Regus Senior Management that they are the best simply because they have 10x as many locations as the competition and as a result new competitors are starting to claim more Regus clients. The CRM at Regus is horribly dated and many of the internal systems are also antiquated but the company refuses to address it. Regus can be a decent job for someone who is just starting their career or wants to get some sales experience but it's really difficult to say that there is great long-term career potential with a company that doesn't value 95% of their employees and is cutting-costs continually. The poor staff at Regus centers is spread so incredibly thin now that the customers are suffering with an overall lack of customer service and responsiveness unless you say you want to buy something. Training for employees is also sub-par and you more or less have to "figure it out" on your own without much structure whatsoever.

My experience at this company was uncomfortable from the start. I saw, and was even asked to do, things that felt completely unethical. Employees are pushed to upsell constantly, and we were told to lie to clients about pricing, inflate costs, and refuse itemized receipts. If a client insisted, I was instructed to digitally edit receipts to match the fake prices being charged. That alone was enough for me to know I couldn’t stay. I never did any of it, because to me it borders on fraud. Clients get angry or threaten legal action once they realize they were misled into contracts full of hidden fees. It’s incredibly shady, and it feels like the company only cares about squeezing as much money as possible out of people, while leaving Community Associates to deal with the fallout. The job itself was also misrepresented. It wasn’t advertised as a sales role, yet you’re expected to push extra services nonstop, even when they don’t actually work. And when something breaks, good luck getting IT to respond. The online training is long, repetitive, and barely helpful, leaving you overwhelmed instead of prepared. Management also watches employees constantly through cameras, which is creepy and stressful. I’m not sure how they have time to monitor and critique employees when they’re supposed to be doing their own jobs. This company is cheap!! The workload is ridiculous for the pay. You’re expected to juggle multiple roles while being severely underpaid. Even basic supplies are hard to get because the company refuses to spend money on essentials. This is not an honest place to work. I left because I have morals, and I’d strongly warn anyone considering this company to think twice before applying.
