Upon joining this organization, it became painfully apparent that their acknowledgment of my limited professional experience was just the tip of the iceberg. The so-called training program is a pathetic excuse for professional development, essentially leaving you to fend for yourself. I ended up doing absolutely nothing remotely close to what was outlined in my job offer, and the toxic company culture is enough to make anyone cringe, especially if you happen to be on the younger side. Let's talk about broken promises – they're practically the company's specialty. Whatever commitments they make to you during the hiring process are as worthless as a scrap of paper. And don't even get me started on the pace at which things get done around here; it's like waiting for a sloth to finish a marathon. You'll be blindsided by major decisions that affect you directly, and the cherry on top? You'll feel about as appreciated as a spare part in a forgotten warehouse. The lack of support from higher-ups is nothing short of astonishing. The excuse for training they provide is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Your job responsibilities, as per the offer letter? Forget about them; you're in for a wild ride of disillusionment. This company seems to have a special knack for favoring the older crowd. If you're a younger professional looking for growth opportunities, you might as well be on a treasure hunt with a broken map. The communication channels are so opaque you'd think they were trying to hide something – and they probably are. Critical decisions are made at a glacial pace, leaving you in a perpetual state of limbo. The sheer frustration of unfulfilled promises and perpetual feelings of unappreciation have created a toxic work environment that's sucking the life out of everyone involved. It's high time for a reality check and a serious overhaul of the way things are done around here.
