It was a great opportunity to work in the publishing industry. I built good relationships with my team members and I got to work on a variety of projects.
Kontras
The turnover rate here is high, especially among younger employees. There just aren't many growth opportunities and management doesn't seem concerned about retaining skilled employees, or offering development opportunities to existing employees. Management also seems to distrust employees as demonstrated by a reluctance to offer remote work opportunities and micro-managing employees initiatives. I'd be hesitant to recommend this company to anyone since I've seen so many skilled, hardworking people leave in frustration due to the companies policies and frustrating interactions with management.
