Pros
There are a few nice people there. It's also a good experience watching incompetent management try to run a company.
Kontras
No self respecting professional would work here long term. The company promotes themselves as having this fun "start-up" culture, but really that means it's just an organized mess. The company is run by a very small group of former jocks and ex-frat bros who have very little clue. The "Best place to work for in Minnesota" award is a pretty bogus award -- look into it. Basically, they prey on naive recent college grads to obsessively cold call to sell their forgettable product (display signage that routinely doesn't work properly and a pretty bad mobile app). Pay is terrible and no room for advancement really. If you hit a cold spell selling their average product, upper management is on you and threatens to fire you if you don't pick things up. No lie -- they will even make jokes about firing you by bringing up all the people they've fired in the past. And you will hit cold spells - selling display advertising in 2014 is a tough sell. It's a very out of date approach to marketing and smart companies realize this. (It's not 1997 anymore.) In a nutshell, the top "executives" at Reach pretty much know nothing about modern marketing and are pathetically out of touch. I also heard from a very credible source within the company that a girl quit once because someone in management was inappropriate with her. Just do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you are extremely desperate.
