Pros

- Lots of responsibility and a steep learning curve - You can become an expert in this field - Fun-loving colleagues with a nice attitude

- Hard to progress, promotions have become too structured and slow (valuing time over performance) - Management are slowly taking responsibility away from Brand Managers. The role was much more challenging previously and has become more of an execution role - Management announced that they don’t trust anyone and that work from home is forbidden unless you communicate exactly what will be done and show the result at the end of the day. That is if you are allowed to be at home at all (micromanagement instead of trust) - Performances that were evaluated by managers as deserving a top bonus have been reduced by upper-management who are worried about cash flow over employee retention

We wanted to address some of the points you made in your review to give a better picture of how we handle things like home office or bonus payments. We are sorry that our work from home policy was not clearly communicated to you. We are currently working on guidelines for our employees which are consistent across all functions. Our HR tool will give us better visibility into who is working from home so we can better plan our day-to-day operations and ensure transparent communication across all teams. The bonus budget is pre-determined by the Management, People and Finance team and is also influenced based on local benchmarks, cost of living metrics, trends and subject to change based on Razor Group’s financial and market situation. It was clear what was expected from you and all the tools were provided to do a great job. Culture and the employees were great.

It was a start up, so many things were changing every few weeks. Comes with the territory though!
