Pros

If you are prepared to take on challenges, there are lots of opportunities to grow - offices all over the world so good chance of working overseas. Good, but small, graduate academy to train up new sales people. Lots of friendly people who work hard, lots of charity support and social events. Very successful business, No 1 worldwide, so job security is good.

Kontras

Pressure to deliver means and long hours, particularly gearing up for a major customer event. Can be slow moving but making efforts to work better globally. You need to be flexible and a team player - don't work here if you like precise process and order.

Thanks for your review. I agree we need to invest in nurturing talent. I've just returned from a business trip where we discussed expanding the size of our academy to increase the number of graduate sales people - I had the opportunity to spend time with the current graduates from this years' intake and it was a pleasure to see them working as a team delivering pitch presentations to the local sales leadership team following their latest round of training.

Pros

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Kontras

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
