Pros

The only good things were the okay benefits and flexible schedule. If you’re a white male, you’ll do great. If you’re anyone else, keep your head down and stay in your place.

Kontras

The environment is not good for anyone who is not a white male. If you’re a minority, forget it. If you’re a woman, forget it. I would not recommend for minorities or females. The majority of employees were inherently racist and sexist. Many of them think it’s funny to send sexist pamphlets out (two different pamphlets on two different occasions were distributed amongst at least 100 employees). Racist remarks were said on numerous occasions. Promotions are only for white males. Oh can’t forget about the sexual harassment too. HR can’t do their job. Good luck with keeping your job in the future, HR.

Pros

I worked at Raytheon for over 4 years and had a great experience. The company provided many learning and growth opportunities. I was promoted twice during my tenure with the company, and my responsibility increased significantly. I felt like my management supported me and provided me with the career mentorship that I was seeking. I felt empowered and respected during my time there.

Kontras

It can be difficult to work at such a large defense contractor company because of all the process and red tape. Things can move slowly, you have to be patient and pick your battles. That being said, if you learn how to work within the system, you can make a significant impact here!
