Pros
Raytheon have great contractual working hours. (Finish early on Fridays!). Since working here, I have been pushed to take on new opportunities and experiences constantly to improve on my skills and knowledge. Personal development reviews are firmly placed with regular refresh on how I am doing to achieve them. It is clear that there is support available to help achieve them, not only from my team but from wider functions and departments are also willing to assist. (Eg training and mentors are provided) In terms of working hard - The functional team have recognised the effort and can sometimes receive rewards, so working hard isn't taken for granted at Raytheon.
Kontras
Although Raytheon have good contractual hours, most of the time, the work load require you to do a lot more unpaid overtime. - quicker processes are required (eg, IT and softwares issues needs to improve and resolved to increase efficiency)
