Pros

You can become an instructor quickly.

Kontras

The instructor pay here is below industry standard in the DMV. You are also required to act as both an instructor and a receptionist throughout your shift. Management leads through fear mongering and illegal practices such as stay or pay clauses and non competes, although this is improving with Jenn managing. I would recommend training through Balanced Body and working somewhere else. I am much happier and paid 20% more at Club Pilates.

Pros

Great support by the teams - GM and AGM Talent and Development team is so willing to help others

Kontras

I would not say anything - people need to go to work and stop complaining about instructing - this is the easiest job to be an instructor and instructors have no idea how easy they have it!

Pros

Got my foot in the door as an instructor

Kontras

6 weeks of training in an industry that typically calls for a minimum of 500 hours to even teach. They’d never admit to being prejudiced, but if you know, you know. Leadership that plays favorites. Easily threatened by strong personalities. If you’re not a kissing up to the right people, you’re on the outs. If you speak truth about abuse by other instructors, you’re placing a target on your back. Tries to have you sign contracts to make it a fireable offense to communicate with former employees wronged by ownership. Lying leadership. Lying ownership. They’re a mediocre, bland, tasteless bunch. And if HR is in on the gossip, you know you’re in the bad place.
