Many current employees are contemplating leaving the company. Decision-making within this environment is heavily influenced by politics rather than facts. The actual impact of your work takes a back seat to its appearance in presentations. Senior leaders openly gossip about employees, make salary decisions based on personal preferences, and mock aspects like the Danish work-life balance and stress leave. They also become defensive during the annual employee satisfaction survey and hold bitterness towards departing employees, often insulting them long after they've left. The culture is backwards. Senior leaders demand unquestioning obedience, prioritise individual wins over collaboration, and ridicule younger staff for being socially conscious ("woke"). They mock gender pronouns, complain about "white men" unable to make offensive jokes, and insist on outdated policies such as separate gender bathrooms.
