Each team operates very differently. On my team, expectations often feel unrealistic, with an unspoken expectation to work 60+ hours a week despite messaging around work-life balance. Leadership tends to be top-down, with limited openness to team input. If you’re comfortable in a high-pressure, call center–style environment, this may be a fit—but it may not be ideal for those prioritizing a healthier work-life balance. There is a lot of nepotism and managers just hire their friends that have little to no experience in the role.
