Pros

Clean (because it is a new facility) It has a professional atmosphere. (Makes you feel like you need to dress like a professional) The average person you work beside is a good person, not to mention a hard worker. Morning meetings every day for warehouse staff. (Will touch on this more in cons)

Kontras

Morning meetings are typically very informal and unrelated to work day events. Monkeys could manage the entire facility better than the management that is currently running the warehouse and office. They don't notify people upon hiring that they will be working every Saturday, mandatory. They don't have a large HR department and the department they do have is very lazy. That said they don't get paid any more than a warehouse worker. They hire strictly through Temporary agencies (Oh, but there is more to this point!) They keep you as a temporary agent for 6-12 months at a time only to begin a 3 month probation with the company. Being hired on is strictly based on how many positions you know on the line. (Which many people who work there will never touch the line as there are many other positions within the warehouse) examples; pre-production and scrap. Massive turnover because of all of the above points. Starting wage is mediocre for a job that will in the end cause you to see a doctor for repetitive stress injuries. Starting wage doesn't move for an entire year and even then it is a very small jump. It's $1 after a year and then .25 cents every year after. UNLESS you get a higher position on the line which still isn't a much higher wage. Higher positions also include much more physically demanding work that will injure your wrists/elbow. (Heavy squeezing/8 hours a day hammering) Temporary agents are training temps. Only because the full-timers are getting sick of working there and finding different jobs. This company also brought in a consulting company to ask people who manufactured the case(Employees on the line) what they would do differently. This information was brought to management who apparently couldn't make the 20 second walk out onto the floor to ask themselves.

Workplace culture may not be the right fit for everyone. Communication and management support were inconsistent, which made the role challenging. Lots of gossips caused by management
