Well I was effectively sacked for being sick. I came into work, was ill and that had made me late. I made up the time we had a chat about it and on the following day as I had COVID my condition got worse but instead of calling in sick I decided to come in and do my best. Unfortunately my condition continued to spiral and had to leave early. Only to find out later they decided to sack me because of this.
