Good people but lack of appreciation for technical staff - Systems Engineer bei R1i Technology: Mitarbeiterbewertung

City location, try hard people. The engineers are talented.

Small company of 25 people. Toxic masculinity with house music played in the office all day. They think they are a lot better than they are. They got their corporate values from ChatGPT but don't actually abide by them. They don't have a strategy and pretty much live day-to-day. They employ people between jobs or down on their luck, otherwise no one would work for them if they had the choice. They don't have a great reputation if you ask around enough. Sacked 3 people on one day in November 2025 due to the business pipeline shrinking. Then more people left of their own volition shortly afterwards due to toxicity. Not great prospects for potential employees, cannot recommend them.

This company is one of the most toxic workplaces I’ve ever encountered. Management regularly bullies and harasses staff, almost as if it’s a source of entertainment for them. It often feels stupidly malicious, with no purpose other than to make employees miserable. There is absolutely no sense of loyalty or support. The moment management decides you’re no longer useful, you’re discarded without a second thought. The overall culture comes across as cold, cruel, and completely indifferent to the well-being of the people who keep the place running. It’s no surprise to me that the company has such a terrible reputation throughout the industry.
