Pros

Nice people, decent training for junior consultants, meetings tend to be civil, laid back culture. Intense focus on the customer and growing revenue. Solid place to cut teeth on analytics.

Kontras

Bloated upper management, lots of “VPs” with little or no authority and tough to pin down responsibilities, overly dependent on leads from IBM, chaotic array of products and services thrown at customers like spaghetti against a wall (see what sticks), too many frat boy egos, middle managers/GMs seem to be preoccupied with buttering up the two owners. It feels like a glorified staffing agency at times. The business units lack focus, passive aggressive collaboration. Less than transparent communications from the two owners about company growing pains.

Pros

Feels like a meritocracy more so than any other company I've seen. If you demonstrate you can handle more work and responsibility, they will give it to you. There is so so much to learn. Surrounded by people with great technical and soft consulting skills. Opportunity to work with so many different businesses and dig deep into each one to learn how they tick. Projects typically last 3-4 months, so you get in, learn, execute, and then get to do it all over. Great teammates and very communicative/social WFH culture.

Kontras

Can be some down time between projects which affects your bonus - can sometimes just be unlucky and not have a spot on an ongoing project. but, I think the more you make yourself useful, and the longer you've been at the company, the less likely you are to have downtime
