Pros
You have a nice work-life balance, plus the San Diego sun and beaches are a bonus. You can usually control your own work and still find time for meditative walking/swimming/biking when the pressure gets high.
Kontras
Upper management doesn't clearly communicate their plans to everyone else, which is understandable for leaks and whatnot, but it's also detrimental in keeping morale. I think they're tight-lipped not because they have things to hide, but rather because they themselves don't know what they're doing. Reacting to a market versus creating a market is not good.
