Good learning opportunities- trainings-team building meetings-helpful people Everyone except a few at QAD are willing to help you learn and will provide assistance. You learn so much because you will work so hard and will get your hands into multiple things which will help you in the market later.

Kontras

Lowest pay you will ever see. They will continue to pay you entry level even after you work there for several years. The company is filled with incompetent people who have been there for several decades and do the most minimal work. You will continue to be exploited and do more work than any of the seniors for the lowest pay. Every year you will be told that this 2% raise is what you deserve. The company will eventually crush your spirit to learn and just make you complacent. All the old timers are complacent and hence continue to be at the same company. Even after putting the most work you will ever do in your life you WILL NOT GET PROMOTED. You will see kids of high level execs get promoted every year and wont be able to do anything about it. NEPOTISM is deep rooted within the company. Year after year every exec will get promoted but you will stay in the same role even after putting in immense work. Every youngster quits the company because of this reason. You will have a mental breakdown. Every youngster at this company that I started with is no longer there. We cribbed about the same things for several years. Save your effort. If you do have to work here have a 2 year vision.

Thanks for your review and I am sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with QAD. I am not sure that I see the same experience at QAD that you describe in terms of promotions and pay. I have met many people who started at QAD as interns and are working in either senior individual contributor or managerial roles. I do hope you have a better experience in the future in your career.

It was a genuinely great company to work for prior to 2025. Excellent experience working here during the transition stage from On-Premise to Cloud under the previous leadership (Anton). The core QAD ERP is a complex, valuable software that was making solid progress toward a SaaS model before the recent shifts.

Kontras

Drastic Culture Shift: The workplace became instantly toxic when the new CEO (Sanjay) took over. His first all-hands call explicitly stated the company was doing poorly, setting a deeply demotivating tone. Subsequent calls have been filled with mean-spirited treatment toward employees. Mass Layoffs & Outsourcing: The company let go of highly experienced resources—the backbone of QAD—in the AMER and EMEA regions. They completely outsourced critical Cloud Operations (which maintains the core infrastructure) to a vendor in India that has zero knowledge of QAD. Severe Micromanagement: Because the new outsourced team lacks domain knowledge, there is intense micromanagement, and leaders are now expected to be available 24/7 to compensate. Misguided Strategy: The new leadership immediately scrapped ongoing developments to focus entirely on customer support. There is no job security left in the AMER and EMEA regions. Misleading PR: Don't believe the social media hype or paid articles. The heavily boasted AI integration is actually a tool developed by Redzone, and despite a "great launch" in November 2025, nothing has actually gone live yet.
