Pros

Good basic salary. Promotes internal learning. Promote and encourage collaboration within the organisation. Good staff parties.

Kontras

There is too much of a hierarchy within the company which makes processes too slow. There are a lot of big egos within the senior leadership team. Management have been promoted for tenure and not because they are the right people for the job. Promotes a no commission structure culture to clients although still charges the same fees as competitors - money goes to the senior leadership team in their bonuses. There is a bully culture with management - there have been a few ‘investigations’ Need a HR trained professional - A member of staff was given a formal warning for forgetting a meeting with the CEO??!?

Pros

Helping for hiring managers when looking to hire temp, fixed term and perm staff. Recruiters are all polite and personable. Good focused resourced for the charity sector.

Kontras

Disappointing when working with them on the side of a candidate looking for work and when in temping work. At two fixed term roles I was not checked in on once after my first week. Consultants seem to have a really high turnover with contacts changing constantly on the candidate side.

Home working is a bonus outside of the toxic office

Kontras

Pretend they are about impact and purpose but really all about the profit whilst underpaying consultants and dressing it up as recruitment with purpose.
