A lot has already been said about this company mostly repeating them same things over and over, but I feel like I need to give a non biased review as much as possible, so here is my attempt.
- Lack of Training
I was lucky enough to start the job with an actual training group, but it was very difficult. Nothing was very structured and it was hard to catch on. Those that could not keep up were eventually let go and never moved to an Account Manager position, which made sense at the time. From what I gather now, the new people are brought in with no training at all in a "sink or swim" gauntlet style test of aptitude and work ethic. You are set up as a kind of 'Customer Service Rep' where you just crank out phone calls. Unfortunatly you are not given any training in regards to Promevos services or hardware, so it gets really tricky when the customer asks you a simple question and you can not answer. You simply just have to refer them to their specified "Account Manager".
In the same vein as lack of training, I asked multiple times to be trained further or become a leader in a specified area, but I was never given the opportunity and ultimately felt useless.
- No Moving Up
There is nowhere to move up once you are hired, unless you consider going from one part of sales to another. I was told upon hire that I would be able to transfer to any department once I was settled in. When I asked HR about an opening elsewhere, I was told that I was not qualified since I didn't have a degree in said field (and as you may have seen before, HR doesn't even qualify to be HR)
- Loyal Employees are taken advantage of
Some employees are great at their jobs, but sadly I always felt that Management took advantage of this. Those employees worked after hours or came into work hours early and are never compensated for it besides not getting fired. Unfortunatly, that kind of work ethic can only last so long before it starts to strain on your family and home relationships and you just cannot do it anymore.
- Disappointment
I loved my job and really felt proud to be working for a Google Partner, but when you see how fast they go through employees and over work the good ones, you start to see why there are so many negative reviews.
