Pros
The business' trajectory and growth plans are enormous. With aggressive global expansion the company has advanced through the tiers now rubbing shoulders with the biggest players in the EAM / ERP solutions markets. Therefore working at PG can act as a career accelerator for those ready for a challenge. This is clearly evidenced in the promotions and success stories i've seen within my 2+ years at the company. Great work culture. The Leeds team is diverse, sociable and supportive. Regular social events, sports groups (5 a-side football, racket sports, hiking, walking, gym groups). Approachable management group. Opportunities to travel internationally and work with Enterprise customers.
Kontras
With flexible work hours and hybrid working becoming more prevalent, whilst other businesses reduce their remote work force, it may be challenging for some professionals to adjust to the fully office based work expectation. However there are huge success stories past and present within the organisation globally, more specifically in the Leeds office underling that high performance is rewarded at PG. In reflection perhaps working for a global organisation is not for everyone. Each to their own. The 'hire and fire' notion seems only felt by previous entry level sales staff. Which unfortunately IS applicable to sales roles in the UK with usually 20% of staff retained in roles of this nature per 1-2 year recruitment drives. Worth a google or AI search. I can understand why previous reviews may prove disconcerting but It is an inaccurate evaluation of the state of affairs at PG, where retention is actually on a high and improving with each passing month. (FYI, I'm not paid to say any of this)
