Pros
I've worked at Prodigy for two years. I love a lot of things about working here, but the things that significantly impact my job satisfaction are
1. The people that work here are great, it's a busy, but social environment. Cliché, but work hard, play hard really is a fitting description.
2. There is a lot of flexibility working here, people are appreciated for doing their jobs well, and if you are reliable and hard working you will benefit from the flexibility.
3. I feel like every department works hard to contribute their part and make sure their team is pulling their weight (credit to the managers/execs). The Art Dept is creative and quick, Screen Printing work so hard to make everything I need work, rush jobs, weird prints, they always figure out a way; Sourcing and Accounting balance having the reps backs and looking out for the company very well.
Kontras
One thing I found initially difficult working here is that you are kind of thrown in to the deep end, so-to-speak, because it is a fast-paced place to work and hard for anyone to take a lot of time to train. I've seen it make it difficult for a few people to stick it out, but once you get over the learning curve, it's worth it.
