Pros
I worked at Prodigy for around 2 years, leaving only to pursue a different career path outside of IT. The working culture at Prodigy is fantastic with a good mix of remote working at home, and staff who work in the office. Before I left, Prodigy had just moved offices and spared no expense on making it a great environment to be and work in. There was a good mix within the Technical team of engineers who were very, very knowledgeable and experienced, along with engineers who were perhaps new to the industry, but the company was very good at providing learning opportunities and training. The directors and management team seemed to have a clear vision and were constantly trying to think of new ways to encourage and reward staff, including days out, nights out, etc. I found the salary good for the area and my job role, but also had a few other benefits which made it a very good package. Overall I can't recommend working at Prodigy highly enough. I have worked for a few IT companies, and if I were going back into the IT industry, I wouldn't look any further than trying to go back.
Kontras
Some clients were difficult to work with, but I think that's the case in almost any services organisation.
