Benefits and perks are good. They give out free product (consumer goods) to their employees relatively frequently. Training is also very good for personal growth and technical understanding. The style of work is also unique compared to other R&D-related careers.

Career advancement is slow being in such a large company. Career system is also unbalanced, favoring engineers over other sciences. Many people are also overworked and have difficulty balancing work and personal life. There are also a variety of management personalities, making it difficult for effective communication and coaching. There is a large variety of departments in the company and big emphasis in the brands and projects related to brands are usually more recognized.

Many intelligent people who are experts in their fields who are willing to help and provide advice (if they have time). Decent benefits and pay.

I mentioned time because many people are stretched and overworked. Work life balance is pretty bad and shows no signs of improvement. A lot of this can be attributed to near useless management. Every project is treated as absolute maximum priority but can still be dropped at a moment's notice. Work processes are horribly cumbersome and slow. Even small changes require many approvals but there are endless demands to "move faster".
