Even after 25+ years in business, there is still very real opportunity for growth both for the company itself and for employees willing to put in the effort. One of the strongest aspects is the engineering team — many of the engineers have been with the company for 20 years or more, and as a younger or even a seasoned engineer, you can learn an incredible amount from their experience and all-around knowledge. The environment pushes you to grow quickly, and compensation does improve over time if you put the work in. You gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and responsibilities that you may not get elsewhere. The location doesn't hurt either.

The pace can be extremely fast, and projects are often executed under very tight budgets. Some managers can be difficult to work with depending on the department.

Management expects tons of overtime work with no compensation for doing extra. Project management is poor with software and hardware changes and updates being done right up to the last minute before delivery.
