Pros
The majority of Precedent are bright people who work with purpose and believe in the quality of their output. The company is great for juniors and career changers who are fresh to digital, as mixed skills and background are accepted. Though the pay isn't the highest, it's made up by the company culture where most people on the ground pull together to collaborate. The discipline managers in the London office have an "all in the same boat" attitude and work as hard as their teams.
Kontras
Precedent do not have a structure for training and development, and the review process is a formality. Most Precedenters are self-starters and will train themselves, but this means a natural drop off when they become mid to senior level and have no more opportunity to grow. The flat structure means only two routes to promotion; either fight hard for it and don't expect an increased paycheck, or volunteer to open a new office where you will automatically become management. A recent company expansion and hiring outside to create a C-suite may have permanently damaged the company culture and prospects.
