Pros
- Given quite a lot of responsibility very early on
- There are some seriously smart people who you can learn a lot from
- Lots of exposure to senior members of staff, most of whom are approachable and friendly
Kontras
- Have seen plenty of hire and fire situations in my time here. If you're not doing a good enough job, you won't last long.
- Almost everyone is overworked and underpaid, except a select few who are overpaid and underworked!
- Since the company's acquisition, you get the sense of there being all the red tape of a big business with none of the budget attached
- Alignment with our US HQ is shocking to say the least
- Small office means nothing stays a secret and certain members of management can be very toxic, unappreciative and rude to staff
- Can be quite frustrating, given the chaotic nature of the business and industry, it's often joked that nobody really knows what they're doing but a lot of the time that actually is the case
