Pros
I loved my seasons for Powder Byrne. I met some amazing people, lived in some great places and enjoyed working with the clients. For ski seasons, you get the opportunity to ski places that otherwise would really hit your bank account. You're given good training (with first aid if you are doing full season.)
Kontras
The management is haphazard and not well executed. In resort, we were often left without advice for days at time from those at head office. We were often left to feel like we didn't matter when we were working our butts off from 7am till 2am some days. The pay is terrible (but it always is on seasons) and the living conditions aren't ideal - sometimes up to 8 of us in one room. The management in the office don't seem to take in to consideration our health either mentally or physically when addressing issues. It leads to frustration between the team. Very often people were just fired with very little warning or pre-cursor. Often let go when we were actually with clients. They seem to have their favourite staff which are often the ones that will sit down and shut up and just thank them for the opportunity to work all hours God sends.
