The founders are great people who tend to treat their direct reports well. There are tons of perks and opportunities to have fun while working. The sales team works hard and are, for the most part, great people to work with. You will learn a lot, and your next job will definitely be better than this one.
Kontras
The management team is inadequate and often makes decisions with a lack of research or information. The HR department is unethical. Privacy is completely disregarded, and real concerns are ignored, making Phusion a dangerous place for certain demographics to safely work or be successful. The founders have lost touch with what made the company a legendary brand and a positive place to work and grow. Pay is laughably below industry standards and compensation structures constantly change without much notice or explanation. Don't believe anything they tell you in your offer. The only way to keep your job is to keep your mouth shut and go along with whatever the management team throws at you. The owners are smart, but it feels a little bit like they are trying to make the company look good on paper by constantly restructuring - for what, not sure, but it isn't doing anything good for employees.
