Pros
The product and what PerspecSys is doing appears to be exciting and wonderful from an outsider's perspective.
Kontras
- the company name is a mouthful - the company is badly managed and your ideas are really heard or acknowledged - if you're a good employee and try to help the company by working on a public holiday to help the clients meet their deadlines don't expect management to give you time off, you really have to fight to get time off - within your team the management doesn't like to give you time (unscheduled vacation - something comes up) off they'll say something like "sort it out amongst yourselves" - whatever marketing says about the product there are large challenges and the company doesn't really communicate that to the customer; in many cases the customers are surprised when they realize that the product is configuration nightmare - developers call undocumented configurations "ninja features" which is a cute way of saying it's hacked into the product and there is no documentation surround this. - 11 hour work days are the norm for months on end as you try to integrate PerspecSys software into client environments - poor planning on sales and management and the poor worker bee has to carry the weight of mistakes and failure to communicate from the higher-ups
