The CRO is an absolute megalomaniac that is on a power trip like I've never seen. If you're not one of "his people", you're out - unless he temporarily needs you. He also doesn't hire non-white people. Ever. Also, management always prefers external hires over internal promotions. They will only promote people in a last resort situation. Also, these people literally did layoffs saying it was for "budgetary reasons" while they're actively recruiting for multiple not-so-necessary roles.
