Pros

- beautiful building with great views of the mountains - complimentary drinks and snacks - open environment - food trucks directly downstairs - private building gym (additional fee) - competitive salary and benefits - good work/life balance

Kontras

- culture needs work, very cliquish and high school - not everyone are friendly - managers set bad examples of being on their cell phones, excessive chatting, doing personal tasks on company time, facebooking - lack of communication between teams/dept leading to wasted time and delays - only offers inflation raises - contract employees are often excluded in events creating a divide between staff and contractors - not a lot of room for growth

Thanks for your post! I am disappointed to hear that you didn’t have the best experience working with managers and teams in the office. We recognize that having a supportive & qualified manager is vital to an employee’s personal growth and work life satisfaction and we are always looking ot provide in office opportunities for employees to bond and get to know each other. But, in regards to contractor participation in office events. Although we fully appreciate and love having our contractors as part of the team, from a legal perspective, contractors are not allowed to attend many events and office activities. This is a legal requirement from the government that we are required to adhere to.

Pros

People who were at Paramount before the Skydance merger remain talented and amazing people.

Kontras

The post-Skydance merger Paramount is an aimless corporate with zero resources, and respect for existing employees. Senior management are coming from Disney, and they’re hiring all their previous Disney colleagues, while laying off employees that have been at Paramount through ages. There has also been a shift in demographics where White men control the power. It’s disheartening to see amazing legacy leadership get demoted and sidelined in favor of incoming White male leaders from Disney. The new senior management will say things like, “We want to invest in people that will stay with us and grow,” yet layoff an entire division that have kept this company running through all the transitions. The disrespect is just ridiculous.
