Pros
None that I can think of as far as my experience.

I don’t actually work for this place and I likely never will. I have never spoken to a more patronizing, condescending recruiter than theirs, Adrian. Firstly, I do admit that going into the call, I did not know too much about Pacific Program Management so I asked simple questions, as the industry it falls under is outside my scope of experience, I wanted to learn more to try and gauge whether or not this opportunity would be a good fit for me. Instead, he mockingly chuckled at every remark I made then at the end of the call, proceeded to tell me to go look for “entry level positions”. I have been an administrator for almost eight years… He also asked about my ethnicity, which, I don’t really know why that matters or why it had been brought up in the first place. While I do understand that my skill set does not match the particular job I applied for, I don’t believe lambasting your potential candidates (that you specifically selected) is the way to build meaningful connections in order to staff your organization. Either be more selective of what/who you’re looking to hire or don’t call. I’m not sure if the nature of this phone call says anything about Pacific Program Management or their affiliates, as far as it being a reflection of hiring practices or any other internal or external processes or their workplace culture, but if it is, I would implore you to explore other career opportunities.
